EMMY KNIGHT
Emmy Knight is a very talented young athlete who is totally obsessed with Karate and would train every hour of the day if she could. She currently trains every day at her families Karate club, Sakura Karate Academy and trains weekly with Kuniaki Sakagami Sensei 8th Dan. She started Karate aged 4 and has steadily grown into a world class athlete, gaining her JKF 1st Dan Black Belt in June 2015. 2014 was a breakthrough year for Emmy as she was selected to represent Wadokai England for the first time, going on to win both a gold and silver medal in the European Championships held in Reading, England. She has just returned home from winning a Bronze medal at the World Championships in Nagoya, Japan. Both of Emmy's parents are Karate instructors and hold positions on various committee's within Karate and the local community. Emmy's family and team are a great source for Karate inspiration and experience. They have for many years proved to be an invaluable support network for her as an athlete.
